Ernie Ball Long Scale strings feature a 37.25" Winding from Ball End to Taper. Fits most 34" scale and some 35" scale basses.
Ernie Ball's new Cobalt Alloy electric bass strings are engineered to maximize output and clarity. Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinky Bass Strings are the latest in bass string technology. These Cobalt strings provide a new voice for bass players of all levels. Ernie Ball Cobalt Strings have an extended dynamic range, incredible harmonic response, increased low-end and a crisp clear high end tone.
Cobalt metal provides a stronger magnetic relationship between pickups and strings than any other alloy previously available. Ernie Ball Cobalt Slinky Bass Strings are also soft and silky to the touch.

Q:
How does this alloy rate for abrasive qualities compared to Nickel and Stainless? How aggressive on the frets are they I guess is what I'm trying to find out.

A:
They would compare to a stainless set. However keep in mind that any round wound string is going to be abrasive to frets. The less force used on the fretting hand will help reduce the amount of fret wear you experience. Some instruments also just use a softer fret alloy which anything even a flatwound will wear into faster.
