Spector USA NS-2 4-String Bass # 1400 features a unique Gold Leaf finish.  Gold Leaf is gold sheets that are applied by hand.  This process has been used throughout history to give objects a true gold color look.  This process leaves a unique look to the bass as each area of the bass has a different texture to the look.  The high polished clear coat gives the bass a smooth fast playing surface while keeping the textured look of the gold leaf.  There are gold basses, but this bass is actually gold!
